Bruno is a 9 year old boy that lives with his sister and parents in Berlin. One day, when he comes back from school, he receives the news that they will have to move because of his father's job. Their new house was placed in the middle of nowhere, unlike the old house in Berlin. Bruno notices the fence that devides the house and the camp, where you could see the people dressed in striped pijamas. He decides to take a walk along the fence, and he notices a dot in the distance. Soon, the dot becomes a boy,named Shmuel, who very soon becomes Bruno's best friend. Shmuel asks Bruno to help him find his father, that has been nowhere to be seen in the past couple days.Bruno rolls under the fence and enters the camp, where he is executed with the other jews...
